Monday Morning Rundown: 07/27/26

Welcome to The Grey Manes Monday Morning Rundown, a collection of news and notes form the prior week that impact the Lions, the NFL or whatever else catches my eye.

Lions Players, Coaches and Team
The Lions are offering membership to an all-inclusive, members only pregame lounge called the 1934 Club exclusively for Lions Loyal Members (aka season ticket holders.)
Lions place Safeties Brian Branch, Kerby Joseph and TE Ty Conklin on PUP list prior to training camp.
Jared Goff did a quick interview with The Insiders on NFL Network about the outlook on the 2026 season, his new OC and dropped that he is partnering with Little Caesars, likely as a spokesperson.
The Lions are seeking a Senior Graphics Designer for a full-time role in Detroit.
It appears the Lions also hired Brooke Kirchhofer as Talent & Associate Producer role. Interestingly enough, the Lions have also not filled the team reporter role previously held by Tori Petry and Dannie Rogers after reorganizing their in-house staff under the One Pride Productions team, so maybe this is a step in that direction to backfill the role.
Athlon Sports has their X-Factor player list out, and the Lions Rock-Ya Sin was the choice, which I think most of us would agree with.
ESPNs Mike Clay has released follow-up OL rankings and has moved Penei Sewell up to OT 3 and OL 7 (was OT10 & OL17) without any sort of reasoning. His original rankings were trash with Lions fans and media rightly dragging him hard on it, so much so that he quietly correcting them, which says a lot about the mentality of these analytics guys when called out for being completely wrong.
The Lions have released additional "Get to Know" Pick posts including Kendrick Law
