As we arrive at Week 8, the matchup with the Vikings looms large as the Lions take on the NFC North division leaders and that crazy defense run by Brian Flores. After beating the Packers, the Lions held a bunch of guys out for Rest today, but a few starters didn't practice due to injury. are still fairly healthy, with just a couple of minor tweaks to ankles. The Vikings have a rash of knee injuries, but per HC O'Connell, none appear serious enough to miss the game at this time. Did I mention that Kerby was back?

Vikings

Wednesday: Three starters with Knee injuries in Jones, O'Neil and Huber, and that is it. None appear serious to hold them out this weekend, but the one to watch is Huber, as he is already filling in for the injured Donovan Jackson, so that would be their 4th string OG if he cannot go.

Lions

Wednesday: Lions have some injury issues with Gibbs and St Brown both missing practice due to injuries, but likely just precautionary. Tyliek Williams was also out due to an illness and should be back by game day. Rakestraw, Saylors and Joseph all were limited, but all (except Kerby) should be good to go by Sunday. Hutch, McNeil, Sewell and Wonnum all had a rest day, no concerns there.
