Transaction: Lions Sign Draft Picks Stenberg and Penisini

The Detroit Lions have finally announced the signings of 2020 Draft picks OG Logan Stenberg and DT John Penisini. It was announced last week that the players had agreed to deals and we were only waiting for the official announcement to call it a done deal.

Stenberg, drafted in the 4th Rd, signed a 4-year, $4.037M contract with a $742K signing bonus per Sportrac. He is expected to make a push for playing time at OG and is currently slated to wear number 61 this Fall, but that may change once camp cuts take place and other numbers free up.

Penisini, drafted in the 6th Rd, signed a 4-year, $3.467M deal with a $171K signing bonus. Like Stenberg, he is expected to compete for playing time on the DT rotation this fall and will wear number 91.
