Former Kentucky WR Kendrick Law

Brad Holmes made his first unexpected pick of the draft with the second 5th round pick by trading up with the Bills by giving up picks 181 and 213 in exchange for pick 168. The pick ended up being Kentucky (and former three-year Alabama WR) Kendrick Law. This looks to be a pick for Special teams and a way to get the roster younger, faster and cheaper.

Law Key Career Stats

  • 46 career games

  • 86 Receptions, 883 Yards 10.3 Avg, 4 TDs

  • 31 KRs for 710 yards (22.9 Avg)

The Grey Manes were a bit perplexed by this pick due to a perceived lack of need and giving up a late 6th Rd pick to move up for him. However, adding speed and Special Teams players on rookie deals is a key need for the team.

His college Jersey number of 1 is currently worn by Jameson Williams, so Abney will need to pick a new one.
