Lions signing OT Devin Cochran to Practice Squad

Confirmed by his agency, former Cincinnati Bengal OT Devin Cochran has agreed to sign with the Detroit Lions to their Practice Squad.  This signing will fill the loss of Jamarco Jones for the season to the ankle injury he sustained in practice last Thursday. 

The 6’7” 330lb Cochrane was a UDFA signing in 2022 out of Georgia Tech who had one start and nine games played in his 3+ years with the Bengals, with the bulk of his career spent on the Bengals Practice Squad. He was waived on final cuts this year, re-signed to the PS the next day and ultimately cut again the following day when the Bengals signed OT Javon Foster. Cochran's Relative Athletic Score of 9.15 is exactly the type of athlete that the Lions look for at each position, so should be interesting to see what Hank Fraley can do with this kid.
