The Lions are close to acing this draft, picking up players at position of need in Rds 1 and 2,a nd now they appear to have done it again with their 1st Rds 3 pick. With that selection, they took Notre Dame DE Julian Okwara, the younger brother of Lions DE Romeo Okwara.

Okwara is a bit undersized in weight at 250, but has great height at 6'4" and ran a 4.6 40 and was on a trajectory to become a Rd 1 prospect prior to breaking his leg.
